Structured address in multicash

We have prepared an overview of the current regulatory changes related to structured addresses in the multicash application. For greater clarity, we have divided the topic into two main areas.

1. Foreign payments in CFA (CZ) and SKA (SK) formats

From a format perspective, no changes are planned for either the CFA (CZ) or SKA (SK) formats. However, there is a methodological recommendation regarding the correct completion of individual fields, which enables the extraction of information required to create a hybrid address – a combination of structured and unstructured address data.

2. SEPA payments

Below is an overview of multicash application versions and the corresponding pain.001 format versions used for SEPA payments:

File format XML – pain.001.001.03 XML – pain.001.001.09
Structured address ❌ No ✅ Yes
MCC 3.23 / MCT 3.23 ✅ Yes ❌ No
MCC 4.x / MCT 4.x ✅ Yes ❌ No
MCC 5.x / MCT 5.x ✅ Yes ✅ Yes

The above applies both to payment batches submitted from ERP systems and to manually entered payment orders.

Important:
Not all banks support the new *.09 format. We therefore recommend confirming with your bank which format version is supported. If you manage accounts with multiple banks in the multicash application, please contact all of them to confirm compatibility.

Further details and recommendations can be found in the PDF document (available in Czech only).

Finally, we would like to emphasize that the structured address requirements are fully supported in multicash V5. We consider this version to be the only comprehensive, future-proof solution for supporting all aspects of structured address processing.
