MultiCash as a Service – One-stop solution for infrastructure, software and services

MultiCash as a Service – the all-round solution for payments

By transferring traditional IT tasks such as administration and monitoring of the system to a service provider, corporates can eliminate unnecessary overhead and free up resource to focus on the core business. Even administrative tasks such as setting-up users and allocating rights are suitable for this type of outsourcing, reducing the operational workload further. Omikron’s "MultiCash® as a Service" is a flexible all-round solution which can be scaled up to meet each corporate’s needs and can be implemented without a complex IT project. This results in an attractive proposition for corporates of all sizes.

The one-stop solution for infrastructure, software and services

"MultiCash as a Service" is built on a central, secure infrastructure in Omikron’s IT Centre, operated by a certified provider based in Germany. Of course, the solution can also be operated by a corporate’s preferred data centre. The integration with the corporate ERP platform is made using one of the many options available, for instance a direct connection using a MultiCash-ERP-Connector. Since Omikron supports both hardware and software (including the operating system) and monitors the workflows, the need for in-house servers and solutions is eliminated. As part of the all-round solution, Omikron provides a range of services for server and application support alongside workflow management. If needed, you can also make use of our "System Administration" service package, which takes occasional administrative tasks, such as adding new users or group units, off your hands. Users who work with the payment factory on a day-to-day basis access the solution via internet from a desktop PC, tablet or smartphone.

Solution concepts for every requirement

Omikron provides two options for using MultiCash as a Service, based on typical sets of requirements. This allows each corporate to decide on the profiles which best suits its needs.

MultiCash as a Service in the Cloud

The "MultiCash as a Service in the Cloud" model provides you with an IT infrastructure in a certified data centre in which your "private" solution is run. As this scenario provides processing power as needed, corporates no longer need to invest in new hardware or software. At the same time, additional data capacity can be rented at peak times. The cloud model provides higher flexibility and significant savings in IT infrastructure. These services are delivered and used based on clearly defined technical interfaces and protocols. Corporates can decide between using Omikron’s IT centre or working with a data centre of their choice.

MultiCash as a Service On-Premise

In comparison, the "MultiCash as a Service On-Premise" model is the solution operated in the corporate’s own data centre. The IT infrastructure then remains within the corporate is maintained by in-house staff. This option is especially appealing if the internal compliance regulations do not allow for cloud-based models.

More service through consultation, conception and implementation

Omikron provides full consultancy on integrating your specific workflows, from an up-front analysis, through detailed conceptional planning, up to implementation. This eases the burden on in-house staff and eliminates the need for additional resources. This means that even mid-sized businesses with smaller teams can operate MultiCash as a Service solutions successfully. Corporates who understand their payments business to be an integrated business processes are able to increase efficiency levels in the sense of a BPO – both as "Business Process Optimization" and as "Business Process Outsourcing".
