ERP-Connector - an efficient, secure and customized interface between ERP and e-banking system

Many corporates, which generate payment files from their ERP systems, are looking for an efficient, secure and customized interface between the ERP and their e-banking system. MultiCash Transfer® is designed to meet these requirements, directly supporting a number of automated interfaces for exchanging payment file, balance and transaction information between these systems.

Of central importance for corporates is to ensure that any payment file delivered by the ERP system to the e-banking platform is secured against any kind of manipulation. Any solution must provide instruments for data integrity (no changes to the content), authenticity (the files originate from a known and legitimate source) and confidentiality.

We provide both file transfer interfaces, which transfer the files in batch mode, and streaming based solutions such as the newly developed ERP-Connector.

ERP-Connector: closely integrated and highly secure

Built by using standardized open technologies, the ERP-Connector closely integrates the e-banking platform with the workflows of ERP systems such as SAP®, Oracle® and Microsoft® and controls the data stream between the ERP-systems and MultiCash Transfer® using the highest security levels. The data is transferred directly from the ERP system in an encrypted form to the secured MultiCash Transfer® databases.

The ERP-Connector interacts seamlessly with the bank connector in MultiCash Transfer, allowing the corporate to link efficiently with its banks, raising the levels of STP (Straight-Through-Processing) in the payments workflow. Popular technical option for the ERP connection are Web Services. This open interface technology enables an efficient, individualized connection to be in-built between the systems.

The secured connection is using an encrypted SSL channel with a mutual system authentication.

The ERP-Connector for MultiCash Transfer® enables payment files to be submitted directly and securely from an ERP system, such as SAP®, Oracle® and Microsoft® to the corporate’s banks. In conjunction with the Bank Connector, the transfer is made with the highest level of security and Straight-Through-Processing. In the same way, payment status updates as well as balance and transaction details are delivered from the banks to the ERP systems.

Managed data transfer based on integrated routing

The flexible concept of MultiCash Transfer® connectors and the support of open standards make it possible to implement integration across different technologies, so that diverse ERP systems can be connected. Automated links between MultiCash Transfer and other systems are also possible. Examples include applications for treasury, HR and management information, as well as bank systems. On the basis of the integrated routing, MultiCash Transfer® becomes a general tool for the managed transfer of data. Individual integration projects are also possible.

MultiCash Transfer is able to connect a corporate’s systems to its banks. The determination of the way how the data is transferred is decided on a case-by-case basis (managed data transfer). Payment status messages, balance and transaction information and payments are split, converted and routed intelligently. The system can be operated as a managed service in the cloud or on-premise.
